Sutcliffe Employment

Each year, Sutcliffe Farms welcomes over 40 seasonal workers to be part of our asparagus harvest.It’s a hands-on role in a supportive, team-oriented environment, with harvesting done while lying down for much of the day.

Our harvest season is weather-dependent and typically runs from the last week of April through to mid-June. While the season is relatively short, it offers consistent work and a chance to be part of a busy and rewarding time on the farm.

Many of our team members use this as a starting point for a full season in agriculture. Once our harvest wraps up, opportunities continue across British Columbia, with fruit-picking seasons beginning in the Okanagan.
